Cassandra Barnes, PhD, joined LOTTE BIOLOGICS in 2023 as part of the core team supporting the launch of the company’s state-of-the-art ADC development facility, where she represented the analytical function within the development laboratory. She currently serves as an Analytical Lead for ADC and mAb client programs, with responsibilities spanning analytical method transfer, method development and optimization, process development testing support, and cross-functional collaboration with Quality Control, while acting as the primary analytical point of contact for assigned client projects.
Prior to joining LOTTE BIOLOGICS, Dr. Barnes was a Research Scientist at SUNY Upstate Medical University, conducting biophysical characterization of phototransduction proteins across protein engineering, expression, purification, and bioconjugation workflows. She holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from SUNY Upstate Medical University and a BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from SUNY Cortland.
